Sound Sparks lets children record sounds, turn them into instruments and collect original audio creations. No accounts or uploads are needed.

Open SYNTH with one recorded sound. Try the keyboard, pitch controls, low-pass filter and envelope. Make a warm and a bright version; use SAVE NEW SOUND AS to keep both.
Make a collection with at least five sounds that tells a story. Order sounds and decide which ones represent characters, places or actions. Export a SAMPLE PACK or the complete library backup.
Use SCHOOLS → BACK UP MY WHOLE LIBRARY. Transfer the JSON file using a school-approved method, then SCHOOLS → RESTORE / ADD A PROJECT on the next computer. This merges sounds without deleting the destination library.
Get permission before recording anyone's voice. Avoid names and personal data in sound titles and exported audio. Supervise sharing. Use headphones at sensible levels. MIDI is optional: the on-screen keyboard works without extra equipment.
Use HTTPS or localhost for recording and browser installation. Chrome or Edge on Windows/Mac is recommended for USB MIDI. iPad Safari supports the on-screen keyboard but not Web MIDI. Browser storage is device-specific and may be cleared: export backups regularly.
